Most shipping companies would calculate shipping rates based on three key criteria:
- Destination: This is were shipment is received form your store
- Weight: Total weight of the shipment
- Delivery Types: The speed at which shipment is received by the shopper
Follow these steps to configure shipping rates
- The first thing you need to do is to check if destination country is added. Follow this guide to add country
- Got to Dashboard > Settings > Shipping
- You will be taken directly to 'Configure Rates' Tab,
- You will see list of countries you have added, click on 'Configure rates...' link you will see besides countries name
- Click on a list called 'Standard Delivery', the accordion will expand and you will see a text box besides 1 Grams to 500 Grams, enter the shipping rates e.g. $10 and hit 'Save'
As per above example, any shopper located in USA making online purchase of a product weighing under 500 grams will be charged $10 for standard delivery.
Note: Please consult your shipping provider before configuring the shipping rates. You will get a rate chart from your shipping provider

Steps to Add Weight Range
- Got to Dashboard > Settings > Shipping
- Click on the link 'Weight Range'
- Click 'Add more' link, you will see a new row being added (note, the row is not added until you save it)
- If second column of your previous row has the number 500, than you must start the range from 501 in the second row. By doing this you are adding range in linear series, avoiding any conflict of calculation.
- Hit the button 'Save Weight Range'
**Note: you need to add weight on the basic detail page when you add any product.
Steps to Add Delivery types
Your shipping provider you various delivery options such as overnight delivery, express, standards, next day, etc..depending upon the service you want provide to your shoppers, you should add delivery types.
- Got to Dashboard > Settings > Shipping
- Click on the link 'Delivery Types'
- Click on the button 'Add Delivery'
- Enter name of the delivery option and hit 'Save Changes'
Adding multiple countries into single destination is possible. For example, you want to club four eastern European countries as one destination called 'Eastern Europe', you can do this and configure shipping rates for 'Easter Europe'.
Steps to Configure Regions
- Got to Dashboard > Settings > Shipping
- Click on the link 'Regions'
- Click 'Add Region' button
- You will be asked to enter name of the region and select countries you wish to add to a region.
- Check countries you want to add and hit 'Save Region'
