The abandoned cart notification is a great way to encourage shoppers to complete the shopping which they might have left halfway. This could happen because of number of reasons such as dropping of internet connection, browser issues, or simply shopper doesn't want to complete the purchase due to his/her own personal reasons. As a result, the checkout process is left half way and remains incomplete.
The abandoned cart notification sends automated email after a certain time interval to your shopper remind about the shopping which was left incomplete. The content of notification can be edit by visiting 'Email Triggers' section. The time interval of sending automated email trigger can be configured.
- Go to Dashboard > Settings > Notifications > Order Processing
- Select the time interval through drop-down menu (e.g.1 hours)
- Hit 'Save Changes'
