Offline payments are useful if you want allow your shoppers to pay using alternative payment methods such as Cash on Delivery, Bank Transfer, etc. When offline payments are enabled, shopper gets to view the instructions about the payment and the real transaction happens offline.




Steps to configure offline Payments


  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Offline Payments
  2. Click 'Add' button that you see in the screen
  3. Enter name of the payment in the field 'Payment Name'
  4. Add Instructions the the text box (Instructions will be displayed to your shoppers during checkout)
  5. Enable or disable processing charges. When you enable processing charge, you will prompted to specify further conditions
  6. Add charge type either in percentages or Flat rate. select the option from drop down and specify charges
  7. You can also specify if the charges are applicable to all the order or order above certain amount. 
  8. Hit Save button

You can add 'exception' while adding offline payment gateway. For instance you don't want to provide offline payment option to expensive products such as diamonds. In this case, all you need to do is select category called 'Diamond', hit Assign. You can add multiple categories as exception. Once you are done adding exceptions, hit the save button.
