Google anlytics code in your online store has to be inserted in two separate places


  1. Online store, all pages before checkout
  2. Checkout

To insert google analytics code in your online store before checkout, follow these steps:
  1. Go to Dashboard > Store Design & Navigation > Template Preferences
  2. Click on Advanced Editor button. Advance template editor will open in new tab
  3. Click on the page called 'Layout' inside the section 'Layout'
  4. Insert google Analytics tracking code right before the </body> tag
  5. Click 'Save Changes'

The analytics code should now work on your website. But, the code is still not active on your checkout pages. To do that, follow below instructions
  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Seo & Google Analytics
  2. Click on 'Tracking code for checkout' in accordion
  3. Copy the code in the text field
  4. Hit save


Please note that eComNation checkout runs on sub-domain of your online store and your store runs on your own domain name e.g.www.yourname.com. As a result, it tracks users on both the domain as separate sessions. To avoid this, make following changes in your google analytics account




  1. Go to google Analytics admin
  2. Click on 'Tracking Info'
  3. Add yourdomain.com and yourdomain.my39shop.com in Referral Exclusion List
