You can configure discount coupons to encourage your shoppers to shop more in your store’s admin panel.





1. Login to your Admin panel and navigate to Discounts. You can view your existing discount coupons from this section.


2. Click on Add a Discount.


3. Provide the following basic information on the discount coupons in the new discount section:

 Specify discount code without any space. For e.g.  You can create 30%NEWYEAR for a discount voucher you wish to offer during New Year. Likewise, you can play with interesting names that your shopper can instantly recognize before they apply discount during their shopping.

 You can specify the name of the discount code or provide a suitable title of the discount coupon that your customer can easily recognize. E.g. 'New Year 30% Discount for 24 hours!'

 Discount Apply On
 Define discount coupon for a minimum order value or simply keep it to apply on all orders, or orders above specific limit. For instance, you want to encourage your shoppers to make a purchase over Rs.10000/-. In this case, you can limit the discount code to be applied on order value above Rs.10,000/-

 Discount Type
 Refer to the type of the discount displayed in percentage and flat rate.

 Validity
 Specify an expiry date of the coupon or mark it as 'Never Expire'. When you set expiry date, the discount coupon will expire on the due date. Eventually, shoppers with that particular code will not be able to use after the due date is passed.

 If you want discount coupon working on a specific product category, you can do this by specifying category and sub-category. The discount coupon can also be restricted to the specific product.
  

Shoppers can use the discount coupon at a shopping cart level. When a specific discount coupon is applied on the shopping cart, the shopping cart will add a new line item with the discount. Shoppers also get a flexibility to remove the applied discount and apply another discount.


4.  Click Save Changes.

The new discount will be added.
